Panera Recalling Cream Cheese Over Listeria Concerns

Panera Bread is recalling packages of their cream cheese at locations across the country due to concerns of listeria contamination. While no illnesses have been reported as of yet, the restaurant chain is taking the necessary precautions to prevent a possible outbreak. The recall affects all of the different flavors and varieties offered at Panera.

In a recent interview regarding the situation, president and CEO Blaine Hurst said, "only one variety of 2oz cream cheese from a single day yielded the positive result. Our intent is to go above and beyond for our guests. You should expect nothing less from Panera."
