Both the men’s and women’s tennis teams win 8-1 on Wednesday;
dominate Capital Athletic Conference rival

Ranked 16th in the Atlantic South Region, the women’s tennis team won their first conference game on Wednesday. They beat the York College of Pennsylvania Spartans by an impressive 8-1. The women controlled most of the sets at this exciting home game and the victory earned them their third consecutive win. They are currently 4-2 overall and now 1-1 in the Capital Athletic Conference. Their next match is on Monday, March 18th against North Central Texas College in Gainesville, Texas. Here’s hoping the win streak increases to 4 in a row! Good luck, ladies!
The men’s team also beat York College of Pennsylvania 8-1 on Wednesday. It was the men’s second 8-1 win in a row. The men’s team is currently 3-4 overall and also now 1-1 in the CAC. Demetri Vrahnos overpowered his opponent in a 6-0, 6-0 shut out at No. 2 singles. The men are also traveling to Texas for a match on Monday, March 18th, but the men are heading to Dallas
to take on the University of Texas at Dallas. A win in Dallas will give them an impressive 3-0 win streak, so make sure you show them support before their trip!
