UPDATE 10:30 a.m.: According to Delaware State Police, the suspect left his home at 9:17 a.m. and confronted police. Law enforcement then shot the suspect, who was pronounced dead on the scene.
After an identified suspect shot and killed a Delaware State Trooper at a Wawa in Bear Wednesday afternoon, the State Police have since been involved in a barricade situation outside the suspect's home.
